Katherine Legge Memorial Park

Katherine Legge Memorial Park is a great place to bring your children for a day out of fun and activities. It is located at 5901 S County Line Rd, Hinsdale, IL 60521.  This English-style park was built in 1927 and offers a playground and sports facilities. A pond and fountain are also included in the park. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. Many of our plumbers go here with their families on their days off.

In addition to the parkland, Katherine Legge Memorial Park Lodge is an elegant, picturesque setting for any special event. This historic building was designed by R. Harold Zook, one of the most prolific residential architects in the western suburbs, and is a charming example of a bygone era. The lodge is also versatile, and can host a variety of different events. It can accommodate up to 250 people if both floors are used. It can also accommodate up to 100 people for seated events. The lodge can also accommodate outdoor gatherings and corporate events.

The park also features an ice skating rink, picnic areas, and ball fields. Its 18 park areas offer a variety of recreational activities. During winter months, the city offers ice skating and sledding hills. The 52-acre Katherine Legge Memorial Park and Lodge is an ideal setting for a wedding, family reunion, or other special event.

Katherine Legge Memorial Park will be open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., with restrictions for dogs. During the rest of the village, dogs are required to be leashed. However, during the hours of the park, dogs are allowed to be off-leash. Violations of this policy are punishable by a fine.
