Mills Park

Mills Park is one of San Bruno's most sought-after real estate neighborhoods. Located near downtown, the 380 freeway, and both BART and Caltrain, the area is known for its curving streets and friendly neighbors. While the neighborhood is not particularly big, it has a quaint, suburban feel. Residents maintain their homes in good condition, and many have well-tended yards. This park is located at 217 Home Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302. (click here for our home page).

Visitors to Powder Mills Park should know that there are three restrooms on the property. They can be accessed through a roadside attraction, which is located on private property. However, the best place to view the Mushroom House is at the Fish Hatchery parking lot. While there is no admission charge for the park, be aware that the road is narrow and has little shoulder space. It is a good idea to have a car or ride your bike on a soft surface to avoid hitting any wildlife.

The Carson & Mills Park Railroad features a two-foot narrow gauge railroad. The train has a replica diesel switcher engine and covered and open passenger cars. The ride lasts about 15 minutes. The station is located adjacent to the Marv Teixeira Pavilion. Admission is free, and children three and under are free.
